Welcome to the Northwest CT EMS website! It is our hope that this website will help you become more informed about our organization. This is the new Northwest EMS site. The Northwest Connecticut EMS Region V Council, Inc. represents the 43 towns of Northwest Connecticut, and Health Service Area 5 including the Georgetown Fire district. The purpose of the Council shall be to foster quality Emergency Medical Care, pre hospital through hospital, which is cost effective and readily accessible to all persons in the Northwest Connecticut Region V, who are experiencing a state of medical emergency. The EMS regional councils are the local planning agencies for Emergency Medical Services in Connecticut. Region 5 towns include the following:
