Executive Comimttee
There should be an Executive Committee composed of ten Council members. The President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and six elected members shall comprise the ten. The Executive Committee shall also function as the Finance and Personnel Committee. The Executive Committee will adopt formal charges for all standing committees, and appoint members to said committees with due regard for geographic representation. Education and Training Committee
The intent of this committee is to assure the training opportunities are made available to providers of emergency medical services. Medical Advisory Committee
The intent of this committee is to ensure that the highest quality of emergency medical care is made available within health Service Area 5. Specific duties of this committee will be to:
B. Establish regional medical protocols, (clinical, communication, treatment, triage, transfer) C. Review regional ALS course applications and content and send to the COuncil for approval. D. Provide a delegate to the State Medial Advisory Committee. E. Send to the council for dissemination, information pertinent to providers of Emergency Medical Services. Strategic Planning Committee
The intent of this committee is to insure the continued future operation of the Northwest Connecticut Emergency Medical Council, INC. Nominating Committee/By Laws Committee
The nominating committee shall serve as the By-Laws Committee.
